Custom Embosser
Logo Only
Many people only need a corporate logo or organizational logo done to emboss paper. It could be for legal documents or certificates of merit that need to be embossed. It makes the document more prestigious and will be treasured for years. The receipiant will appreciate the extra effort you did to make the certificate extra special.
Where do you want to emboss on the document?
Some people want to emboss the document at the top of the page like a letterhead. But most people want to emboss at the bottom. If you are using a thick paper, I suggest using an Avery foil label. This will give the best impression. When ordering your custom embosser, let us know if your want to emboss the top or bottom of the document.
What file format should I send to make the best embosser?
.eps, tiff, and jpeg are the best export formats to send your logo to us. Here is a little test to do before emailing your logo to us. Print it out on your computer printer. If the image is sharp with smooth edges, we can make a great embosser for you. If the image edges are jagged, we can not use it.
Here are some do not's:
Do not send a logo in a Word document.
Do not send a copy of a logo from a web site. Most images on a web site are around 72 dpi - way too low of a resolution to use for an embosser.
Can a color logo be turned into an embosser?
An embosser is basicly a black and white image embossed into the paper. Most of the time, a color logo can be converted into a black and white image. Only then can we produce the embosser. If your have a black and white version of your logo - send that. If your only have a color logo, we will be happy to convert it to black and white.
You have two choices on size. The 1 5/8" dia. is the most popular size and you can usually get a little deeper impression in the paper. Some people just need a little larger image embossed, so we offer this option also.
